Anniversary Events
Nearly every year since coming out of Alpha, the TAKP devs have added in some custom content that is available towards the end (sometimes beginning of the next year, depends where it lands) of each year for that specific reset (2 weeks). These events are then removed and won't be available again until the following year. All of the events are available for those two weeks. If any more are added in the future, this will be updated. These are the ones we know of so far. Currently available Dec 20/2023-Jan 17/2024

3rd Year Anniversary Event
Memorandums
There is a Dwarf near the GD stone in PoK that accepts these memorandums and in return you get a chance at some reward. There are a number of different potions you can get from this, such as 10 Dose Potion of the Swamp, DS pots, and gems. The main prize you want from this though is the Seal of the Dwarven Emissary that ports you to Thurgadin. Its unlimited charges and great for most non-porting classes.
Memorandum of Dwarf Slaying is what you hand in to the Dwarf for a chance at this. Some have said they received it after 10 or less turn ins, while others push over 100 without getting one, so RNG be RNG.
4th Year Anniversary Event
Buffey the Ogre
There is a blue ogre near the main bank in PoK. He will buff you a random buff (Aego, KEI, POTG, etc) if you hand him Acrylia. Hail him and go through the dialog for details.

5th Year Anniversary Event
The 5th year added Mayong Mistmoore and a number of raid targets.
Mayong Mistmoore
He can be found in Castle Mistmoore in the bedroom (#22) on the map.
Quest loot
He will talk to you and provide the quest if you are indifferent or above. There doesn't seem to be a difference in the rewards based on faction level, but each turn in is class specific. For instance, if you loot Claw of the Black and are a priest, you receive Heritage of Secundae. He is looking for claws and other body parts from RoS (Kunark) dragons (nothing from Velious dragons works). Mayong Mistmoore faction can be built fastest by living in Charasis for a while. Alternatively, the Bard in South Karana (Vhalen Nostrolo) gives roughly +15 faction per kill, and is a 6 minute respawn.
Rewards and Turn-Ins
The table below is not complete. Please add and correct rewards as they are found.
Turn-in Item | Classes | Reward |
---|---|---|
Claw of the Black Claw of Phara Dar |
BRD / SHD(?) / PAL(?) / WAR(?) | Clawed Coat of Tyro |
Claw of the Black Claw of Phara Dar |
SHM(?) / DRU(?) / CLR | Heritage of Secundae |
Claw of the Black Claw of Phara Dar |
BST / MNK | Lungi of the Forbidden |
Claw of the Black Claw of Phara Dar |
RNG / ROG(?) | Boots of the Ancients |
Left Eye of Xygoz | SHM(?) / DRU(?) / CLR | Fascia Secundae |
Left Eye of Xygoz | BRD / SHD(?) / RNG(?) / PAL (?) | Despondent Shroud |
Left Eye of Xygoz | ROG | Shadow Fury Band |
Maybe from an eye?? | RNG(?) / WAR(?) | Tukwhump's Mithril Pauldrons |
Giving a Claw of Phara Dar to Mayong Mistmoore on a Ranger results in Boots of the Ancients. Giving a Left Eye of Xygoz on a Cleric results in Fascia Secundae, and on a Bard results in Despondent Shroud, and on Rogue results in Shadow Fury Band. He also will accept any item from Tserrina (from TOFS) (excluding her key) and gives you one of the following depending on class usability:
The above lists of course are likely not complete. Here's some other potential rewards (unconfirmed) Ithiosar the Black - The Dragon Ring
Mayong Quest Dialogue
You say, 'Hail, Mayong Mistmoore'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'Ahhh, the dragon slayers have arrived. My spies have informed me of your adventures. I must admit that I had to hear it from multiple agents before I could believe that the mighty Ring of Scale had met its match from a band of mortals. Tell me, do dragons whimper as they die?'
You say, 'The dragons whimper'
Mayong Mistmoore grins widely, nearly laughing and says, 'The delight in your response pleases me. Tell me-- did you happen to prune a souvenir from the corpses of those smug dragonkin? Perhaps a claw or an eye? I value such items for my research. Present them to me and I will offer valuables in exchange.'
OR:
You say, 'tell me about ring of scale'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'As you may know, the Ring of Scale is a threat to my ambitions. They also seek to dominate you mortals. I hear they keep some of you as slaves in their little volcano they dwell in. My servants are better treated I assure you-- unless they fail me.'
You say, 'who are your servants'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'My servants do not die in chains; instead they are granted wealth and power in accordance to their usefulness. Did you come to me to be useful? Or is this visit merely to satisfy curiosity?'
You say, 'I came to be useful'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'Very well then. Your service to me thus far has been notable. I can trust you with a task that needs done.'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'My drachnids in Velious have long ago stopped sending word to me. I would like to know how my would-be wife is doing in her snow covered abode. Pay her a visit and see how she is doing. Give no clues as to your motives. Bring back proof of your encounter.'
or:
You say, 'It is mere curiosity'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'Satisfying one's curiosity can be a noble endeavor or a foolish one. A thousand fools die for every venturer who warrants the slightest attention.'
Successful turn in examples:
Mayong Mistmoore says 'A claw from the mighty Phara Dar herself? A very fine trophy indeed. So sharp that it would still make for an effective weapon. It is so rare when a mortal is as useful to me as you. Here, take this in exchange. A fair exchange I think you'll agree.'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'An eye plucked from the skull of Xygoz? How delightfully morbid. Impressive that you understood how it would provide some magical benefit to carry it. I am eager to harness said magics. Here, take this for what you have brought me.'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'I see. She is as I had left her. Here, take this for your service to me. I have no further need for you at this time. My agents will contact you when this changes. Begone.'
Mayong Mistmoore says 'So, the great Ithiosar has fallen as well. That pompous dragonkin ate a number of my drachnid minions. I shall toast to his violent death at my next dinner party. Here, take this in exchange. I am eager to study what you have brought me.'
Raid loot
He also is a tough raid target (typically 200+ characters show up) that we have done in the past as an open server raid as its felt this shows the original intent of why the encounter was made this tough and embodies the culture of TAKP.
His known loot table so far from the raids:
Other NPC's
There are also a number of raid mobs that are listed below. Most don't exist on Allaclone or have loot tables hidden anyway.
Atulinae`Ishinaer in Akheva Ruins - Known drops so far: Breastplate of the Disciple, Chainmail of the Disciple, Tunic of the Disciple, Robe of the Disciple, Greatsword of the Disciple, Shamshir of the Disciple, Dagger of the Disciple, Claws of the Disciple, Mace of the Disciple, Staff of the Disciple

8th Year Anniversary Event (2023)
Supreme Adventurer's Satchel
TAKP 2023 year anniversary event is a series of quests starting with Hailing Mort Taleweaver at the Qeynos stone.
Ascendant Adventurer's Pouch
Quest dialogue:
Mort Taleweaver says "I need help, yes! I've been using these old satchels to carry my supplies and they have survived many battles and climates. I've been wanting to patch them up, as each rip and tear has a story behind it and I can't bring myself to throw them out. If you would [gather] some supplies, we can mend these scars and I can tell you the stories of my journey."
Mort Taleweaver says "Fantastic! Let's start with this leather pouch, it's the first thing I ever crafted. I created it from tanned wolf skin and patches of spiderling silk. It had survived over 50 years unscathed, but wouldn't you know it, after buying supplies in Qeynos, a skeleton outside the gate charged at me with a rusty old weapon! I dodged the attack with ease, but the bugger caught my pouch and ripped a hole right through! Luckily, I think I can mend it with just a little silk. I'd appreciate it if you could bring me that old Rusty Two Handed Sword the skeleton was wielding, and a Spiderling Silk to mend the pouch. Bring me those, and I'll give you the pouch to serve you on your adventures, just as it served me."
Turn in the required items: Rusty Two Handed Sword, Spiderling Silk:
Mort Taleweaver says "Thank you! I couldn't bear to throw this pouch out and now I know it's in the good hands of a capable adventurer. That skeleton won't be threatening anyone else with that rusty weapon either. Are you feeling up for a [second] quest to journey on?"
Adventurer's Pack
Quest dialogue:
Mort Taleweaver says "Great! This will be a bit more challenging, and I hope you'll learn some tailoring techniques along the way as well. About three years ago, I was sharpening a weapon very similar to the one that skeleton was wielding. I was using a sharpening stone, the weapon slipped and pierced right through the bag! This bag is considerably more sturdy but it also feels more comfortable when lugging around. I think we can improve this a bit, so that a weapon of that strength won't be able to harm it again. I will mend it, then we can take a swing and see how it holds up. Bring me a Tarnished Two Handed Sword, a Silk Swatch, a Raw Silk Sash, and also bring back that old pouch I gave you."
Turn in the required items: Tarnished Two Handed Sword, Silk Swatch, Raw Silk Sash, Ascendant Adventurer's Pouch:
Mort Taleweaver mends the bag carefully, then swings wildly at the bag with the tarnished weapon, as if he has never held a weapon before.
Mort Taleweaver says "Erm.. Perfect! This bag should be much better than that old wolfskin pouch. I missed having it at my hip anyway. Say, are you ready to help on my [third] quest, adventurer?"
Prominent Adventurer's Sack
Quest dialogue:
Mort Taleweaver says "When I was travelling across the Karanas in my youth, I was attacked by a roving gang of bandits. They disguised themselves as farmers, but no farmer would be carrying expensive bronze weapons. Some of them had red sashes, a symbol of their circle. I knew it was an ambush immediately, and started running for my life. One of those bandits must have been running with the spirit of a wolf because he was faster than any other person I had seen. I didn't realize it at the time, with all the adrenaline, but he had landed a glancing blow that cut right through one of my packs. If you could bring me a Bronze Two Handed Sword, a Silk Thread, one of their Bandit Sashes, and the bag we just fixed. I will weave the sash in as a warning to ne'er-do-wells and using my newer techniques, we can see if the bag can withstand a swing from the bronze weapon."
Turn in the required items: Bronze Two Handed Sword, Silk Thread, Bandit Sash, Adventurer's Pack:
Mort Taleweaver carefully weaves the red bandit sash into the lining of the bag, grasps the bronze weapon and draws back to swing. The weapon slips from his hand and swipes across the bag, leaving the bag unscathed.
Mort Taleweaver says "Just like I thought! Perfect! Here you go, this is a fine bag. This bronze weapon will be a nice trophy and reminder for me as well. You're a very capable adventurer, want to try something harder... a [fourth] quest?"
Grand Adventurer's Satchel
Quest dialogue:
Mort Taleweaver says "After being ambushed by bandits. I made my way to HighKeep. I mended a tapestry for Lady McCabe and picked up a few odd jobs to make ends meet. While I was sleeping in the inn near the bank, I heard a commotion coming from a few floors below. Apparently goblins had been tunneling their way through, and started attacking the keep from below. Because I am a brave adventurer, I alerted Captain Bosec immediately in the hopes of saving lives. After I barricaded myself in my room, the commotion stopped, so I ventured out to see what transpired. It was awful, there were dead guards and dead goblins littering the floors of the vault. The dead goblins were holding weapons of the finest steel. No one knows where they obtained them, but they sliced through the guards armor with ease. Bring me a Fine Steel Two Handed Sword, a Shade Silk Swatch, a Cured Silk Sash, and the bandit sash satchel I just crafted. We'll improve the durability and test it against a Fine Steel weapon."
Turn in the required items: Fine Steel Two Handed Sword, Shade Silk Swatch, Cured Silk Sash, Prominent Adventurer's Sack:
Mort Taleweaver meticulously weaves the shade silk and cured silk together, forming an elegant patch. After sewing the patch into the bag, he stands back. Holding the sharp steel weapon, he lunges forward, tripping over his own feet and nary impaling himself. Somehow, the weapon makes contact with the bag, and again, the bag remains unscathed.
Mort Taleweaver says "Someone must have spilled something, that's very slippery over there, someone could really get hurt. My ferocious lunge attack didn't even leave a scratch on this bag though, that's how durable this bag is. I hope you appreciate the durability. I still think there's improvements to be made, though. Do you want to go on a [fifth] quest, adventurer?"
Mighty Adventurer's Satchel
Quest dialogue:
Mort Taleweaver says "Word of my bravery and tailoring skill had made its way across Norrath, and I was invited to the continent of Velious by an ambassador of artistry from Thurgadin. On my visit, I met the Dain.....'s laundry maid and taught her some sewing techniques. How to mend torn undergarments and other impressive procedures. I talked with the local tradeskill artists and learned of rare metals and silks that are only available in that part of the world. Some of the guards had weapons that glittered like ice and were cold to the touch, they called it 'velium'. The local tailors believed the silks from the crystalline spiders protected against the cold better than any furs could. Bring me a Velium Two Handed Sword, a Crystalline Silk Swatch, a Crystalline Silk Fiber, and the bag I just crafted, and I can try insulating it to protect against the cold of velium."
Turn in the required items: Velium Two Handed Sword, Crystalline Silk Swatch, Crystalline Silk Fiber, Grand Adventurer's Satchel:
Mort Taleweaver shivers and turns red while mending the silk lining into the bag. Then stands back, holding the velium weapon, trembling and clearly freezing, rests the sword against the bag.
Mort Taleweaver says "I didn't need to swing, this was just a test against the cold metal. We already know it's durable, I just wanted to make sure the cold doesn't harm the lining. You think I can't swing that weapon like a ferocious gladiator? Well I can, but I just don't feel like it right now, my hands are freezing from the velium. The bag is almost perfect at this point, I can try to improve the durability against heat, and then that's as far as my skills can go. Do you want the [final] quest, for the best bag I can make?"
Supreme Adventurer's Satchel
Quest dialogue:
Mort Taleweaver says "This has been wonderful! It has been a while since I told anyone about my adventures and shown off my amazing skills. I appreciate your time, and that you haven't questioned any of my stories. When I was in Rivervale, I tried sharing a drink in the Fool's Gold Tavern with some more... skeptical patrons, they didn't understand the intricacies of my craft, clearly. They claimed their Haversacks would put to shame anything I can make. I will prove them wrong, I will make this satchel just as good as those haversacks, and it won't look nearly as bland. This will be the hardest quest yet, though, as we need to test against stronger, otherworldly weapons. I also want to insulate it against heat. Bring me a Spiny Two Handed Sword from the moon, an Enchanted Platinum Thread, A Burnt Sash that can withstand even the hottest temperatures, and bring back the crystalline-lined bag we just finished. This satchel will put those nasty-mannered halflings in their place."
Turn in the required items: Spiny Two Handed Sword, Enchanted Platinum Thread, A Burnt Sash, Mighty Adventurer's Satchel:
Mort Taleweaver adds a layer along the front of the bag using the sash. As he grasps the sword to swing, he cries out in pain. There are needle-like spines going up the weapon, you're convinced this dwarf has never held a weapon in his life. How he has survived this long is astonishing.
Mort Taleweaver says "Ok look, some of the stories I told may have been a little embellished. I've never actually been in a battle. I'm usually running for my life or under the protection of an escort. I've been living in the safety of the Plane of Knowledge for most of my lifetime. I have met real adventurers such as yourself, and learned tailoring techniques from many of them. I hope you can look past all that, and appreciate what a fine item we have created together. I hope that you can tell my stories when anyone asks where you came across such an outstanding satchel."
9th Year Anniversary Event (2024)
This event will run Dec 20/2023-Jan 17/2024
All previous events appear to be running as previously stated on this wiki except for a few minor changes:
1. The Year 8 Supreme Adventurer's Satchel now uses Rusty / Tarnished / Bronze / Fine Steel / Velium / Spiny =Long Sword= instead of a Two Handed Sword.
2. When you Hail Mort Taleweaver at the Qeynos stone he gives you an additional option if you have already completed the Supreme Adventurer's Satchel. To be clear, once you have upgraded your Supreme Adventurer's Satchel you can proceed to do the quest again to get a total of two weight reduction bags (both lore, differently named):
You say, 'Hail, Mort Taleweaver'
Mort Taleweaver says 'Greetings! I'm Mort Taleweaver, tailor and adventure extraordinaire. I travel the world seeking new methods to make sturdier armor and equipment to brave the harshness that each corner of the world brings. I'm actually here looking for [help]. I saw this celebration happening in the Plane of Knowledge and thought it would be the perfect time to meet some new faces. I'm getting too old to do much adventuring these days, but my hands are steady and tailoring is in my blood. If you've already heard my story and want a [new tale], just ask!'
You say, 'new tale'
Mort Taleweaver says 'Since we last met, I've started researching something a little... different. It's a bit more [difficult], but with a little work, it gives the final satchel we created a bit more flair.'
You say, 'difficult'
Mort Taleweaver says 'It's actually one of the oldest forms of crafting, bone carving. I can carve a beautiful buckle out of bones and attach it to your Supreme Satchel! I'll just need a few pieces for brushing my skills up on, how about a mammoth rib bone from everfrost, some shark bones from any ocean, and a shard of bone from the reanimated ruffians of the Plane of Valor. Bring those to me with your Supreme Adventurer's Satchel and I'll give it a new look!'
Upon Delivery
Mort Taleweaver begins scraping away at the bones. Just as you start to doze off, he pulls an engraved buckle out of his pocket and exclaims 'PERFECT!'. He attaches it to your satchel and hands it over. Mort Taleweaver says 'I may have ruined a couple of those, but I think this last one really turned out great! I made this buckle myself, I don't know why you're looking at me that way... Really... Ok fine. I may have found a shallow grave exposed in Erud's Crossing on the way here. The brave adventurer that I am, I couldn't just not dig it up. He wouldn't be needing his belt or the buckle anymore, anyway.'
You receive an Undead Pirate Satchel
