Player mitigation AC on TAKP is subject to soft caps. See Calculating Your Mitigation AC for how mitigation AC is calculated. Here are the softcaps for each class. They're taken from the last open TAKP source, which took them in turn from a Mac client decompile.
Class | Soft Cap |
---|---|
Warrior | 430 |
Pal, Sk, Clr, Brd | 403 |
Rng, Shm | 375 |
Dru, Bst, Rog, Casters | 350 |
Monk | 315 |
Over-Cap Returns
Class | Returns @ 60 | Returns @ 65 |
---|---|---|
Warrior | 20% | 33.3% |
Knights | 16.7% | 25% |
Bard | 12.5% | 16.7% |
Rng, Bst | 10% | 14.3% |
Mnk, Rog | 5% | 8.3% |
Others | 5% | 5% |
Notes:
1. Shields directly increase AC soft caps. A knight with a 55 AC shield, for example, has an AC soft cap of 458. A wizard with a 35 AC shield has a soft cap of 385.
2. These numbers do not include AAs. The Combat Stability / Innate Defense line of AAs will (in Luclin / PoP) introduce soft cap multipliers. The maximum multiplier on TAKP in PoP will be 127%, giving a max-AA warrior a soft cap of 546.
