Ring of Vulak`Aerr is a 17-wave event spanning roughly 2.5 hours culminating with a Vulak`Aerr spawn. The ring event was added shortly before the launch of the Shadows of Luclin expansion. Starting the event requires that all of the Lord and Ladies of North Temple of Veeshan, along with Aaryonar, have been defeated. It must be completed in one sitting and, if there is a wipe, completely resets itself upon everyone leaving the area or dying.

(Hit "Start" when you see the first wave mobs spawn. Due to a random nature of some spawn timings, force the next wave to begin by pressing "Next Wave" in the app if the timers become off)
Wave 1[edit]
Two drakes and a wurm spawn in the ring, and two more drakes come from the bridge. Acolyte can flurry.
Wave 2[edit]
A vortex of mana fires. One FLURRY drake spawns with a number of hatchlings, some of which spawn on a delay.
Wave 3[edit]
A vortex of mana fires. Two wurm destroyers and two drakes spawn. Four minutes in, four more drakes spawn.
Wave 4[edit]
A vortex of mana fires. Zruk the Lifestealer spawns, and another vortex goes off on his death. Zruk is a bellycaster, and will spawn a carrion drake after any deaths - including swarm pets!
Wave 5[edit]
Two wurms spawn down the bridge. Two drakes spawn in the ring. Hatchlings pop at intervals. Watch out for runners and DT aggro.
Wave 6[edit]
Two drakes spawn in the ring. When each dies, two more pop, and so on. Wave includes 22 drakes in total, 10 splitting from each original. Kill one full chain of 11 drakes and save the other for after the next wave. Drakes can be any color.
Wave 7[edit]
Two templars and one regular drake spawn in the ring. Carrion Drakes spawn if players die. Getting the templars tanked, crippled, and slowed quickly is essential. Since this wave only consists of 3 mobs, there should be plenty of time left over to finish off the second half of wave 6.
Wave 8[edit]
Rarthek the Swiftclaw and a swiftclaw racnar spawn. A vortex fires on Rarthek's death.
Wave 9[edit]
Five drakes spawn.
Wave 10[edit]
Two templars spawn at the east and west ends of the Ring. Carrion Drake spawns if players die.
Wave 11[edit]
Usually a few drakes, a racnar or two, and some hatchlings, split between an initial wave of spawns and some late adds. FLURRY drakes can make an appearance, be ready.
Wave 12[edit]
Vethrol the Skycaller spawns. A vortex fires after his death.
Wave 13[edit]
Three templars spawn. Deaths trigger Carrion Drakes.
Wave 14[edit]
Three drakes spawn. Two more drakes spawn each time one dies.
Wave 15[edit]
Two drakes spawn in the ring. When each dies, two more pop, and so on. Wave includes 22 drakes in total, 10 splitting from each original. There should be time to kill all 22 mobs this time, provided you don't mind off-tanking the Herald of Vulak for a minute.
Wave 16[edit]
The Herald of Vulak'Aerr spawns. A vortex goes off after his death.
Wave 17[edit]
Vulak`Aerr spawns.
